Paris, France

This is the picture of the Eiffel Tower that I took on DAY 2 @ The Eiffel Tower

After our 8 hour flight, we were so glad to get off the airplane!
We landed at Charles De Geau Airport in Paris and made our way to retrieve our luggages.
We had no sense of direction and no idea where to go so we just followed other people to see where they would be going. A lot of them were walking outside towards a bus stop, and so we did the same. We started asking people around how to get to our Hostel Area, and they said we had to take a bus that got off at the Opera Station.

To our surpise, there were only two other people in the bus. They happened to be from the same city as us back in Canada! It was an older couple, they were very sweet.

We got off at Opera Station and walked down to our Hostel which we thought was only a couple footsteps away. Were we ever wrong! I swear to you- we walked over 30-40 minutes before we got ot our Hostel. It was from one end of the street to the other!! I believe it was called Rue De Fayette!

To make matters worse, Lola's luggage wheel broke off so we had to keep stopping to fix her luggage wheels every couple minutes. Then, to my surpise.. Lola fell in the middle of the street. It was VERY funny. It also rained and poured on us. We were thinking: Could it get any worse?

The streets and architecture in Paris was nice, I guess.

Anyways, we got to our Hostel... Went to the Eiffel Tower, Moulin Rouge, Arc De Triumphe and all the stuff you do when your in Paris.

BUT- I must say (and I speak for Lola too) We DO NOT like Paris. There is nothing special about it, at all. Ouuuu The Eiffel Tower, yeah its just a building thats tall.. its not even that beautiful. Ok- fine, its beautiful but its not as glorious as it seems. It is surreal to stand infront of it and to actually see it.

We literally saw the Eiffel Tower and left. The locals are racist and are not kind at all.

The best part of Paris for me was The Louvre. Seeing Mona Lisa- THEEE Mona Lisa, was SURREAL! I couldnt believe I was standing right infront of it.

And thats all Im going to say for Paris, theres obviousley 500 more things that happened but we'll just leave it to that..

OH but the french baguettes are to die for!
